I've read through post, got 1.15m, latest PT, took all filters off, highlighted all DBs, etc...
It worked the last time I used it when I got the 1.15m to go with the latest postgreSQL. Earlier it worked at one table after 5 min or so, then when I sat at another table it they both were N/A for 10 minutes or so. I sat at a 3rd and they all went N/A for awhile and then stats came up. I opened a fourth and after awhile it would only recognize 3 of the 4.
Now I got the new ver. of UB (was using old) - to see if that could be the problem - and am at 1 table now for 10 minutes and no stats! PT is importing hands. I have no filters on. I don't know what else to try?

| Ozzy, what is your version of the UB software (they may have released a new client, they have been doing that lately)? |

I can't replicate your problem. I just downloaded the latest UB client (Version 6.9.0.4, Release 2006.12.14.a) and re-deposited to my old account to test things out. I'm using PAHud 1.15m, PT 2.16.01, and PGSQL 8.2.1.
However, I do seem to recall some users reported having to leave the UB lobby set to include the table they were playing on. My stats seem to be updating no matter what the lobby says, but you might give it a try.
EDIT: Stupid question time, you are opening the Hand History window, correct? |

I'm using PostgreSQL 8.2 (maybe with the other .1, but I'm just going by the name on the folder - I just redid it a week ago though, so it's a week ago's version). Every thing else is the same as yours.
It's messing up for FTP too. Right now it's only showing 2 peoples' stats. It was showing 4, but I opened up a UB table/HH box and it went back to N/A for ahwile, then one person's stats, 2 and now 3. Pop-up stat window doesn't work for me either.
I also just reinstalled 1.15m too, just to be sure.
Could it be a PT error? ptrack pat says I may have a bad hard drive becuase there used to be severe database errors (I recently uninstalled and reinstalled postgreSQL to fix that). |

| What is your setting for Minimum Hands Required (Preferences -> Filters -> Minimum Hands Required)? What's weird is it sees the tables, but only shows certain users stats. This sure sounds like a filter-type issue. One would think PAHud would either see the tables (and the users) or not. |

Min hands is set a 1.
I have 2 FTP tables open now and only 2 of the players stats are showing and the other table is N/A. Now 3 peoples' stats.
Weird, only thing I can think of is that like PT support told me whan I was having daily severe DB errors. They said it may be my hard drive going bad ( from it being on 24/7?) and had me back up all databases, uninstall postgre, reinstall it an d restore my DBs. I just did all that 5 days ago and since then PAHUD has worked fine. So the only thing I can think of is that postgreSQL uses some part of my hard drive that is going bad and when PAHUD goes into the database it gets messed up because the hard drive is going bad. So to test this out I'm about to use my old Access database and see if that works good.
( now both tables are showing stats - 4 players at one and 2 on the other) |

So using Access solved the issue? This is weird, but it sounds like you have found the root of your problem. Time for a new hard drive.
You might try Gibson Research. They have a product called SpinRite that can repair some issues with hard drives. It might help. |

| Yeah, the Access databases work fine with PAHUD. Strange, guess I'll search for postgreSQL support/forum and see what they say. I don't know if I should just buy a new hard drive or get mine diagnosed. I think it's nearly $300 just to get it diagnosed so I might as well just get a new drive, but fo r now I'll just use the Access databases. I'll check out that link too, thanks! |
